Job Summary:
As a packaging designer, you will be passionate about FMCG packaging and will be able to demonstrate this with on point, vibrant designs.

Overall Responsibility:
- You will be proactive in creating new, original and exciting design concepts.
- You will oversee design projects from initial briefing through to final presentation, making sure deadlines are met within project budget.
- Check and proof read designs to ensure a consistent, high level of precision and accuracy.
- Work with style guides and brand guidelines to ensure brand compliance.
- Liaise directly with Account Managers to ensure full understanding of the client’s brief.
- Present designs on brief, on time, in budget and in line with the company’s values and to client satisfaction in a fast paced environment.
- Attend design and project briefings.
- Become more independent, analytical and creative in all disciplines.
- Assist with image searches for new design projects.
- Assist members of the Design team as requested.
- Champion our high standards.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in packaging design
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility to take your design projects from initial brief through to final presentation
- An outstanding portfolio of commercial food packaging design
- Working to tight deadlines, you know how choose the best process and tools to deliver on time and in budget
- Strong typographical and illustration skills
- Experience of working with style guides
- Able to collaborate creatively across teams
- Ability to cope with shifting priorities
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite/CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
